A woman had her handbag stolen on Monday whilst she was shopping at a supermarket in Kirkham on Ashford road.
She did not see the thief as she was reaching for items on the store shelf. the bag was yellow with red stripes.

Pollution may be the reason a number of dead fish were removed from the small pond in Yeltham park on Wednesday.
Live fish that may remain at the pond will be placed in quarantine whilst investigations into the cause of the problem are made.

A bus caught fire yesterday as it was being parked at the city centre bus station.
Firefighters were called at around 10:45pm after the driver realised and left the vehicle to call 999.
No passengers were on the bus at the time, though there was severe damage to the rear of the bus.
Upto 500 pigeons will take to the skies of over Springwood crematorium on Friday morning in memory of local pigeon enthusiast Herbert Pinnington who died recently aged 72.
Mr Pinnington’s final farewell will take place after his funeral at Springwood crematorium at 11:40am.
The chairman of the Liverpool Pigeon Racing Club has arranged the flying tribute to Herbert who was a member of the club for 27 years.
Bert as he was known by friends, was widowed 5 years ago after his wife Emily had died.
30-50 members of the club will each release 10 birds each in a fitting send off.
