A care-worker has been dismissed from her job after making inappropriate remarks on her Facebook page about elderly people in her care.

Evans had posted, “I’ve only been here a couples of hours and been pinched by the daft old buggers, It’s hell”.

Sandra Evans, 24, Inkerman road, Northworth, attended a hearing today which was held by Norman Atkinson, the manager of Cranley Garth.

Elaine Harrison, 32, who reported Sandra said, “Sandra Evans is my cousin but i was appalled by some of her comments i found on her Facebook page.

“I asked her to remove the comments she refused”

Evans, 24, single, said: I’m so sorry for what i have done i really can’t say much more”.

“Evans had posted, I’ve only been here a couples of hours and been pinched by the daft old buggers”
