A care-worker has been suspended from her job for making inappropriate remarks on her Facebook page about elderly people in her care.
Sandra Evans, 24, Inkerman road, Nortworth, will attend a hearing today which will be held by the manager of Cranley Garth who could add no further comments at this time.
Elaine Harrison, 32, who reported Sandra said, “Sandra Evans is my cousin but i was appalled by some of her comments i found on her Facebook page.
“I asked her to remove the comments she refused”
“These people suffer mostly from dementia and i feel they should be protected.
Evans, 24, single, said: I’m so sorry for what i have done. I didn’t mean to hurt anyone. I was stressed up and having a lot of hassle with residents.
Evans had said, I’ve only been here a couples of hours and been pinched by the daft old buggers”.
