The lead detective in the Summer Wells investigation has been at the centre of a controversial turn of events after it seems John Pruitt used a Gmail account to troll Enchanted LifePath by sending a PDF job application form to the independent journalist.

A Gmail email account used by Hawkins County Sherriff’s Office (HCSO) had replied to an email sent by ELP with information discovered in a 911 call made by Candus Wells, to police in October 2020.

The original email to Pruitt was also sent to 55 police officers from Westerly Rhode Island, and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations (TBI), after they were tagged in the email from Enchanted LifePath too.
